Recently my friends and I went back to BSC [we have been there many times before like 15-20 times] I have some good stories but not in this post.

Im writing this to report that it is now pretty difficult to locate the canyon enterance if you have never been there as my friends and I didnt find it right away either.

The sign that once said Black Star Canyon RV, which is what you would normally turn left at to get to the canyon has been covered up and now says like Crestwood or something--I dont remember what it says but ill go back soon to find out.

Also, im not sure if this site has anything on the burning tree but maybe a eigth of a mile or so before the vehicle gates there used to be a tree that was about 10 feet tall that had been partially hollowed out by fire. I ddint see this happen but I have seen the aftermath and have seen numerous sightings in the canyon on the road and at the tree itself around it's location. Someone was chained to this tree and set ablaze. I heard they were alive when set on fire but I cannot verify it myself but either way its very disturbing. Since we noticed the sign at the entrance was no longer there the tree has been cut down. I have a piece of it still charred and frail.

Also, there are now a lot of dirt mounds lining the road on the left as you head toward the vehicle gates. Its almost as if the county is looking for something in there but I cant comment on it much because I dont know the reason the dirt is there.

I've always wondered about those dirt mounds. I'll have to go tomorrow and check them out in the daylight.

Maybe they're digging for treasure?

I never thought to ask about the burned tree. I heard the same thing from a friend who was allegedly told that by sheriffs. I wonder where you'd find info about that?
