I have been to blackstar canyon probably close to 20 times. I have seen some weird stuff and weird people. The last time I went was pretty weird. It was last Sunday night (right before memorial day). I was with 4 friends, 3 of which had never been to bsc. They weird kind of hesitant to go in the front gate. As we were walking down the first paved straightaway we began to hear music very faintly. It started when we were about three quarters of the way down the straightaway. When we got to the point where the road turns right the music was pretty loud. It was some sort of tribal sounding music. You could distinctly hear the different instruments and a very eerie voice. It was coming from the trees over in the canyon off to the left of the trail. At this point we were trying to decide whether we should follow the trail to the right or duck under the gate to the left and go search for the music's origin. As we were standing there we saw headlights coming down the road towards us. We ducked into the bushes in order to prevent any confrontation. As the car came closer I could tell it was a white truck. I assume it was black star bill. He didn't see us so we didn't have any problems. At this point, we decided to go under the gate and try to find out what was going on out there (it took a little convincing on my part). As we walked down the little trail the music got louder and louder. A short distance down the trail we came across the stream that goes through the trail. At this point we could tell we were really close to the source of the music. We could even see a little bit of light through the trees. I thought I was going to find out what was going on out there. But no one wanted to cross the stream. I didn't really want to continue on by myself, and there was no way they would let me leave them behind. So we turned around before we figured out what was going on out there. Nothing really happened on the way back except for when we got back to the front gate. We heard a loud bang. I'm sure it was either a gun or a firework cause there is not much else I could thing of. Thankfully we were close to the car because everyone started freaking out. On our way out of bsc, 2 firetrucks and 1 ambulance drove past us on Santiago canyon road, all with their sirens on. I still have no idea what happened that night. I plan to go back soon. Hopefully something exciting happens again.

I noticed that I could hear humming. Or chanting far off in the distance. It rally freaked me out last night. And the group that we went with left us claiming that they were being forced to leave. Then as we left a car came out of nowhere and begin following us. But it stopped when it realized we were leaving
