I hike/mountain bike Blackstar Canyon quite frequently and every day I see more and more graffiti. It really bugs me, kids that go and write their markings. If anybody knows who wrote "Seth Martin 6/27/10" on the tractor and every other significant landmark in Blackstar, I would personally love to catch this kid in the act of this crime, and make him pay for the vandalism of beautiful nature. If anybody else see these "taggings" let me know. We need to set up a Graffiti Watch Association in Blackstar to contain the beauty of the canyon.

Hi there, I also hike/bike in the blackstar canyon area. I was alerted to this forum by a friend of mine. My name is Seth Martin. I can assure you that I did not vandalize anything in blackstar, and this is really quite perplexing. Secondly, kids spray painting on old abandoned vehicles is not vandalizing nature. The vehicles presence in the first place is the real crime. Kids arent going to go around spray painting tags onto bushes and leaves. If you do find out who is trying to give me a bad name, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well Seth Martin, I am just telling you what I saw. Hell, there could be thousands of Seth Matins in the world that could decide to go up to Blackstar and rape it's natural beauty by writing their name all over the god damn place . But I'm not saying its you. All I am saying is what I saw with my own eyes was, "Seth Martin 6/27/10" Also it would be greatly appreciated if you didn't insult the amplitude of the canyon's nature, because once you walk past those gates, everything in that canyon is it's beautiful nature.

Seth Martin, I just want you to know there are people out there that will be looking out for such vandals.

Seth, how logical is it that coincidentally there are two people that have been thru blackstar canyon with the same name? I think your just covering your tracks.

I 100% agree with you. Seth Martin, if I ever find you up on the trails, I will personally deliver punishment to you and your delinquent gang of taggers. And that is not a threat, its a promise.

I would love to see you try. At what age does the brain begin to lose intelligence? Its obvious that you are both too ill minded to hear reason, i did not say that another Seth Martin wrote it. I said all of my friends AND enemies know me and my friends go to blackstar. One of them probably did it. I could go up there and write "McCallum 8/1/10" and then go threatening you about it.
I suggest you either grow up, or get a life, what kind of world do we live in when a 50 year old man threatens a 17 year old?

Seth, do not insult me with this naive reasoning that I am losing intelligence. Haven't your parents every told you to not disrespect your elders? Well apparently not, because your parents are so dumbfounded enough to let a 17 year old boy wander through the canyon of Blackstar. I know you and your little posse of immature juveniles go through the canyon thinking your going to find ghosts, but in reality Seth, the only thing you're going to run into are people that you don't ever want to confront. I know these people Seth, and all I'm doing is warning you. Just please Seth, never go back in the canyon.

Seth, I will no longer be continuing this discussion because, I do not find value in your argument and I will be vacationing in Yosemite National Park (A must visit for forrest dwellers). Therefore I hope you start to appreciate the allure of Blackstar Canyon, like myself. If you do ever see "taggers" in Blackstar please alert authorities. Although Blackstar is open to the public, I just want to advise you to take caution, because there are people back there that will harm you. Thank you.

Its funny how you start off sayimg you will injure me and now you say you care. This never had to turn into an insulting contest. Specifically if you hadn't threatened me in the first place. Don't insult my parents. You don't want to get into that. I appreciate your concerns, but my "gang of juvenille taggers" is actually a group of model citizens. Please have evidence to base your facts upon before you go along threatening people. This will be my last post on this thread as well because it is blatantly pointless. Enjoy your vacation.
