Anyone ever been here before?

To reach the falls:
Once you've passed the Tuttle residence (on the right with miniature golf course and pond), continue straight when the trail goes left up the switchbacks. The falls come off of a cliff face a ways down the canyon floor. Another way to tell its obviously not private land, its the first area you come to that isnt fenced off with private property signs.

This Friday November 14th, there is a guided group going to the falls.

Check out http://www.naturalist-for-you.org/calendar.htm for more information. He says it is an advanced 10-12 mile hike with boulder hopping.

Wow! I wish I looked here before going all over the place finding these falls. BTW, the falls are awesome! And worth the hike. With a group of six, it took three hours there and 2.5 back. The easy part was the first hour, then after that, you're looking at back and forth across the stream leading from the falls. But like I said, the falls were worth the 5.5 hr hike!

I have been wanting to find the falls i have recently hiked right past where the mini golf house is. So you continue straight? instead of going left? and is there a trail/how do you know if you are going the right way, do you just follow the river bed?
Thanks!

Go past the golf course until you get to the cement drainage pipes. Do not take the trail straigh, rather go to your right and down to the stream. Follow that for 1.5 miles and you will come to the falls. There are tours that go there all the time. Look up Naturalist for you on the internet and he goes there in groups all the time and you learn alot about the history and environment of the canyon on the way.

Hi there, my hiking buddies and I have been wanting to do this hike for awhile.. After taking everyone's suggestions as to when we have the time to do this hike, we've decided to do this hike this Saturday, May 7th. We are now a bit worried the creek and falls might be dried up already, with all this heat wave. Anybody have any ideas if this hike will be worth it if we were to go this Saturday? We don't want to do all that boulder scrambling and then see nothing but rocks by the time we get to the falls!

Thanks in advance!

I was at the Falls back in the 70's. they are so beautiful. I dont' understand everyone is asking about this as it is NEW..Is something from God. So treat it like that. and make sure to take your damn trash. No one else should pick up after you
