has anyone had an encounter with a mountain lion?
i was there today around 3ish pm with my friend, my brother, his gf and i had my daughter in her jogger stroller..We were walking and it had only been 40mins or so into our walk, when my brothers gf saw this little wierd figure walking like towards us on the trail, we stopped to see what it was, and we couldnt really tell what it was, but it looked like a mountain lion cub, at first we thought it was a dog, but then we realize we started to hear this wierd sound, it clearly sounded like a lions growls, my brother said, to keep on going, that it was probably a dog and that the noise was just a bird or something, i had an instinct to turn back right away, since i had my daughter, and didnt want nothing bad to happen to her, we ended up turning back cause i was freaking out cause i was scared it could really be a mountain lion and cause i had my lilttle girl with me, so we ended up turning back around,....
i wonder if it was really a mountain lion, cause it clearly sounded like one, and that looked like a cub walking on the trail...we nevver saw the big mountain lion, but i am so glad we didnt...
