YES! Canyon pool is a spot I came across while hiking one day through Trabuco Canyon.
Easiest way to get there...
Driving up El Toro towards Cooks, keep right and stay on Live Oak Canyon Rd. through all the oak trees. Pass O'Neill Regional Park, park in the post office parking lot on the left just around the bend in the road after the entrance to O'neill. Walk about half a mile up the road towards the Trabuco Canyon fire station, and across the street from it, you'll find a gate which is the trail head. The trail isn't long, but it's steep as hell so be ready to hike. And don't go too late at night, it's freaky as hell coming down in the dark. Basically just stay on the trail until you see start seeing spray paint and then you're there. You can't miss it.
Fun place, but be careful. some shady characters up there sometimes.
I attached a photo of where to start hiking on a map.
